It has become apparent that someone is making decisions for us. In today's financial climate, it seems that "Speculators" can control our finances better than we can. Just because they think there might be an oil shortage in 20 or 30 years, we must pay more for a gallon of fuel today. With the production price of a barrel averaging less than $25 to $30 per barrel, why should we pay over $100 per barrel? I would love for the speculators to explain why we are paying 3 times the cost per barrel.
The answer is clear. It will take all ofus, from the youngest consumer to the oldest analyst. We all need to join together and make our voices known and united.
Here is the plan .... Beginning on Sunday, October 5 and Ending on Saturday, October 11, We are proposing an boycott on any product derived from crude oil. The main difference between this plan and the usual "Don't Buy Gas For A Day" plan is this. Oil companies can handle a day of lower sales on one product. What most consumers don't consider is that crude oil doesn't provide gasoline, and boycotting gasoline won't have a significant impact on the price of a barrel of crude. It is our belief that a week of boycotting any crude related product will help to wake America and her leaders up from a deep sleep. After a week with sales that low, the oil companies will be forced to pressure lobbyists and politicians to make a committment to change. If we offer international crude providers a lesser amount per barrel as a whole, it will help drive costs down.
We have our own reserves, and we can tap them, but don't. We remain dependent on a portion of our oil coming from overseas, so let's sned them a message. Join with us on the first full week of October and boycott Oil Companies as a whole. Here is a list of ways to join in this boycott:
If we can join together on this, the impact will be sufficient. If we don't get the participation from you, the impact will be limited. Remember one person can make a difference. You will make the difference, and then you can enjoy the rewards of your effort.
